The best weekend of the season

Close out summer on the shores of Lake Huron.

For 55 years we've gathered the weekend after Labor Day to play the game we love in one of the prettiest corners of Michigan. Bring a team of friends, play great ball, and stick around for the sunset.

It's two days of double-elimination slow-pitch at Duwey Durant Field — competitive enough to matter, friendly enough that teams come back year after year. Women's teams of all stripes are welcome by invitation, and the whole weekend raises money for a cause we care deeply about.

The heart of the weekend

We stop everything at 1pm Saturday.

Saturday · 1:00 PM · Unified Game

Every cent the tournament raises goes to Special Olympics. And at 1pm on Saturday, the brackets pause and every team comes together to play a unified game alongside Special Olympics athletes — a highlight they look forward to all summer, and the truest reason we keep doing this.

Come for the softball. Stay for that.

Format

Double-elimination. Official 11" green-dot balls provided. USA/ASA slow-pitch rules. Rain may reduce play to single-elimination.

Roster

20-player maximum. Women's slow-pitch teams welcome by invitation. Bat up to 12.

Awards

The first-place team earns entry-fee compensation toward next year's tournament. Bragging rights included.

Duwey Durant Field, East Tawas, MI — minutes from the Lake Huron shoreline, beaches, and downtown.

We'll reply with payment details and lock your team onto the official list once the fee is in.
Rosters come later — we'll send the official roster form closer to the event, so you have time to round up your players.
